Molly Smith and her mom used to go Sunday open house shopping for fun when she was a kid. She loved getting ideas for decorating and seeing the different ways people felt comfortable in their homes. After college, Molly decided real estate was her ideal career but thought she was too young to pursue it. She went in a different direction until her mid-twenties when a friend pushed her to follow her dreams. Her friend took classes with her, studied with her and took the licensure test just to make sure Molly went through with it. Although that friend never seriously pursued a career in real estate that was the beginning of Molly’s.
Throughout Molly’s career, her husband Brent has really enjoyed watching her business grow and wanted to join in after being an educator and football coach for 25 years. From that, the Sold by Smith team began!
With Molly’s 21 years of real estate experience and Brent’s outgoing personality, they complement each other and make the perfect team. It is a family business to them. Brent’s mom stages the listings and advises sellers on home presentation, while their daughter and son-in-law are their videographers to help market their listings.
They are a full-service team. Their goal is for their clients to be worry-free during the biggest purchase they may ever make. They handle all the details that can be so stressful for clients. They excel on the negotiation side of the business and aim to save their clients’ money. The Sold by Smith team is always learning new ways to serve their clients.
When they are not actively working with their clients, Brent and Molly Smith are spending time with their three girls and one son-in-law. The whole Sold by Smith team lives in the same neighborhood Brent’s relatives have lived for 40+ years in Helena. Brent coaches his daughters in whatever sport they are playing, volunteers in recreational leagues in his community and loves playing golf. Molly is actively involved in the Helena school system with the PTO and loves driving her classic 1967 Mustang her dad gave her for her 16th birthday.
