Lauren Murphy has been with LAH for three years, but she’s been involved in the construction world for almost 10 years as an interior designer. She grew up working in her dad’s and grandfather’s workshops and loved learning all about woodworking. That fascination stuck into adulthood: Lauren has made a name for herself buying, flipping, and selling homes. She sees so much potential in historic homes, and wants to help show her clients all the potential a home has to offer.

She is thankful to have such a strong network of seasoned agents and specialized training through her LAH family, all of which has helped her mold her passion for real estate into a profession. What sets Lauren apart is her experience buying and selling her own homes, starting off on her own. She understands exactly what first-time homebuyers are going through, and she knows how crucial it is to have an agent you can trust.

When she’s not working at LAH, Lauren keeps herself busy with her interior design business and flipping houses. Currently, she and her husband are in the process of renovating their historic home in Crestwood and wrapping up a kitchen renovation.

One of her favorite things to do is travel. Her absolute favorite place to visit is Italy, where she and her husband eloped in Positano a couple years ago. She is also a huge dog lover and has been involved in the Greater Birmingham Humane Society as a volunteer and foster parent for years.
