Prior to Krisalyn Crye, an LAH Homewood agent, getting into real estate she had a successful career in medical device sales for 12 years. In addition to her sales career, Krisalyn and her husband, Walter, were flipping homes and buying investment properties. Real estate was always something she enjoyed personally and professionally.
After their second child was born, Krisalyn decided to shift her career to full-time residential real estate. Not only was she jumping into a career she was passionate about, but it gave her the opportunity to stop traveling, focus on a healthy family-life balance and participate in her community.
Krisalyn is a full concierge service to her clients. While purchasing a home, she believes it’s important to know about the neighborhood, community, schools, activities, restaurants and more. Krisalyn truly believes Birmingham is one of the best-kept secrets in the country. She loves when nervous out-of-state buyers come to look for a new home in Alabama. She aims to help them fall in love with not only a wonderful home but their new community. She does this through school tours, athletic tours for the kids, helping them with dinner reservations and suggesting activities around Birmingham. For her in-town buyers, Krisalyn gives them the same attention when moving from one community to another. She believes being a Realtor is more than opening the door to a home, it’s opening a door to a new chapter of their life.
In Krisalyn’s 8 years of being a Realtor and being at LAH, she has had the pleasure of wearing many different hats. She was the assistant manager of LAH’s Homewood office for two years, the Corporate Liaison for a year and now is a certified relocation specialist. Real estate is an ever-evolving industry and Krisalyn is always on her toes, following the market, different techniques, technology, community involvement and state laws.
If Krisalyn is not with a client, she is with her husband of 18 years, two active children, Madilyn Jenice and Patrick, and their furbaby, Duke. They spend most of their free time at school activities or on their family farm riding horses, skeet shooting and hunting. Krisalyn and her family are also extremely active members of their community and think it is very important to give back to their church, schools and community. She is currently an active board member of the Mountain Brook School Foundation, Brookwood Baptist Church Youth Department and The Queens Ball, a fundraiser for the Kings Home, a member of Brookwood Forest Elementary School, Mountain Brook Junior High PTO, Off- Shoots Garden Club, Brookwood Forest and Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce, Social Media Director of the Queen’s Ball, and lastly, corporate sponsor for Linda Dobbins Dance Studio.
