Jody K Porter was first introduced to the real estate industry after accepting a temporary job assisting a friend in organizing her files. Jody transitioned to other tasks, assisting with other real estate needs, learning the business along the way. Jody passed her real estate exam in 2008 and practiced as a licensed assistant until 2020. In the spring of 2020, Jody joined the new LAH Crestline office.
Learning from other seasoned agents by asking a lot of questions, she applies insight from each interaction to future transactions.
Being detail-oriented and organized has helped Jody serve her clients’ needs in a concise and systematic manner. Jody honed these skills as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner before moving her talents to the real estate industry. Jody volunteers at The Bell Center, an early intervention program that provides therapy for children at risk for developmental delay, a cause near and dear to her heart.
As a 21-year resident of Crestwood, she has been involved in numerous neighborhood outreach events. From organizing alley clean-ups, neighborhood parties, to establishing the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Since COVID-19, Jody has transformed her home into a happy destination for children, neighbors and delivery workers by providing treats, cold drinks and an adopted mascot, Duncan the Bear.
When Jody is not serving her community, she is spending time outdoors gardening, hiking or walking her two rescue dogs with her husband of 31 years.
The LAH family is proud to have Jody as a part of the Crestline office!
