Austin Blair has worked with LAH Commercial Real Estate for 17 years and is currently the broker. He first obtained his real estate license during his last semester at Auburn University, where he decided he wanted to pursue commercial real estate.

“My father had encouraged me to pursue this field and it was good advice,” Blair said. “I guess 17 years is a good while to have been in the business, but I’m always looking to learn more.”

Blair worked in banking for less than a year after college before making the switch to commercial real estate. He landed at LAH Commercial, and as he explained, the rest was history. He enjoys conversation with his clients and customers, and really takes the time to set himself apart and build strong rapport with each of them.

He serves a lot on the listing side of transactions, and is very detailed oriented thanks to handling sales and leasing of land and buildings. However he continues learning every day by naturally working a wide array of deal types like buying and working with tenants, as well as helping his other associates.

When he’s not working, you’ll probably find Austin on the water – whether that’s fishing, boating, or canoeing. He spends much of his free time fixing up old cars and boats as well. He and his wife have a 9-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter. They’re very involved in their son’s sports activities and enjoy spending time together as a family.
