After spending his childhood years in Athens, Georgia, swimming on scholarship for the University of Georgia, and working on a Panamanian freighter plying the waters of the southern Caribbean, the president of LAH Sotheby’s International Realty entered the Birmingham real estate market in 1977. Maurice is happily married to his wife Marian, and they have two children and five perfect grandchildren. Maurice’s real estate experience includes commercial and residential site acquisition and development, property management, office and retail leasing, and commercial sales. Maurice was one of the three original founders of LAH Real Estate, Inc. in 1992 along with Jim Lawrence and Keith Arendall. In the fall of 2011, Maurice joined with Tom Carruthers, Charles Robinson and Mike Graham to acquire the ownership interest of Lawrence and Arendall, and at that time Maurice became the chief operating officer of the company.

Coke Williams, Jr.

Since 1997 Coke has been the Qualifying Broker of the Homewood Office, and an owner of LAH Sotheby’s International Realty since the summer of 2016.  He is married to Kelly Kitchens Williams and is the proud father of three boys, Fulton, Faulkner, and Larkin.  Originally from Anniston, Coke has been a Homewood resident since 1994 and is committed to providing the community and LAHSIR with dedicated, enthusiastic, well educated Realtors.  In addition to Coke’s experience and leadership, Coke understands the LAHSIR mission where clients and sales associates come first.  A successful real estate transaction begins with a full time devoted realtor.  Every transaction that we do is unique and focused on you.  There are over sixty agents that serve the Greater Birmingham Area in the Homewood office. Vice President

Thomas N. Carruthers, III, Vice President of LAH Sotheby’s International Realty, has an extensive background in commercial and residential real estate that began in 1986.  Tom was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from Princeton University in 1982 with a degree in civil engineering, and received his MBA from the University of Virginia in 1986.  Tom spent 16 years with Porter, White & Company, a Birmingham based investment banking and real estate company. In 2002 Tom founded the company that today is known as Red Rock Realty Group.  In 2011, Tom became an owner of LAH Real Estate, Inc.  Throughout his career, Tom has played a role in the development of numerous commercial and residential properties in the Birmingham area and has represented many individuals and companies in real estate transactions.  Tom and his wife Brooke have two daughters.

Charles Robinson

Secretary Treasurer

Charles L. Robinson, Jr., CCIM, is a Principal at LAH Sotheby’s International Realty and Red Rock Realty Group.  He currently serves as Secretary and Treasurer at LAH Sotheby’s International Realty.  Charles earned a B.S. in 1993 from The University of the South and a Master of Forestry degree from Duke University in 1998.  Between this period, he served for over two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Niger, West Africa.

Charles started his career in real estate in 2007 through his partnership with Tom Carruthers with their purchase of an established property management company, Property Managers, Inc., which they later rebranded as Red Rock Realty Group.  They have since grown Red Rock into a full-service commercial real estate company with a team of over 30 people.  In 2011, Charles, Tom, and Mike Graham purchased ownership stakes in LAHSIR from founders Jim Lawrence and Keith Arendall.  Since that time, LAHSIR has grown by adding many agents, staff, and several new offices.  Charles currently assists the other owners and managers with LAHSIR’s strategic planning.  He is an Alabama CCIM Chapter Board member, a member of the ACRE Leadership Council, and an usher at St. Stephen’s Church.  He is married and has four children.
